The God of War presents himself as a mean, no funny business gym teacher, and lucky you, you're right in the middle of his class. Since the Arena of War is lost to the Time Fog, you're stuck doing drills at Avenger's Stadium. Expect to be put through sword fighting, take off and landing, shield practice, and of course the more mundane running laps and doing push ups. Magic is only to be used for shield practice, and anyone causing mischief will have to deal with Ares himself.
Doesn't mean you can't try, it just means it won't end well for you.

Avengers Assemble!
Octobots are attacking a lab space in downtown. Their target: a new chemical compound that is apparently more efficient in powering the wriggly bastards. Get to your assigned teams and get out there before they can make off with that compound, or the octopi will be having the city for dinner tonight!
And Director Fury doesn't give a damn if you don't like your teammates; work it out or don't, just get the job done.

Class is in session, and considering it's Professor Pym's class, it's probably going to blow up in a few minutes. It might be best to make sure your homework is finished and handed in before your lab mate goes for the chemical cabinet, because there's a high chance it'll be on fire otherwise. While your at it, be careful what you touch in the lab; you might end up having an electrifying experience.
...this lab has no safety precautions whatsoever, does it?

Sucks to be you; looks like you just got caught getting into things you shouldn't have been getting into, and the All Father himself found out about it. Now you're stuck in detention in the Timeless Archives, whittling away at a report that no superhero deserves to be put through. It doesn't look like Odin stuck around to make sure you finish it, though; is it worth risking the All Father's ire just to get a few hours on the dance floor at Club A?

Elizabeth | Persona
So the god of war is here, well Elizabeth won the title of manliest of men in that fighting competition, and while yes, sword fighting with a book is what she was supposed to be doing, just why did she keep looking at a card marked "Chariot" with no images on it and side eying the instructor.
"Soon... Soon I will figure out the Master's secrets."

Octobots, tools of a perverse grasp of technology, so that was her mission. Mayhem and destruction, decapitation of those who oppose her. Sadly Liz has had a very hard time understanding the concept of "Collateral Damage" or "Waiting for your team" so she just charges ahead like a fool, sadly the bad kind, not the kind she marginally is. Thanatos appearing over her shoulder she laughs in a way that would make most people suffer a cold shiver.
"Onward Thanatos, to protect the chastity of all the women with us!"

Ok, so Persona fusion is harder, apparently a LOT harder than bodychucking Odin into Ares, and perhaps Dr. Pym's suggestion of "Just try it and see what happens!" was not the best of suggestions to follow. Still, mistakes were made and Elizabeth doesn't even want to get into what started all those electrical explosions.
Still, a paper explaining just what she did know about personas and persona fusion was rather dull, still it was her task. Not wanting to endanger the potential reward, or at least the potential of another attempt at fusion Liz was pondering. She is fairly certain a club was involved in ONE or more persona components so it was time for field research, or at least, an idiot taking the ONE chair in the library and moving it to the Club to "Continue her research"

"I-I'm sure these weren't designed for... that purpose..." he managed to get out, feeling his face getting hotter by the second. Elizabeth no. Elizabeth why. "Besides, we were just supposed to destroy them. Not everything around them too."

With that Thanatos shrugs and rips the bot it was holding in half before Elizabeth shrugs, "Still, perhaps you should rest. I will avoid destroying this place but he who perpetrated this should be found. You can catch your breath, and I will show him fear, I will show him pain, then he will die."
With that she smiles far too cheerfully for what she said and checks her persona compendium before turning.

He reached out to try and stop her, but... well, this was Elizabeth. Once she got going, it was near impossible to get her to stop. He could try to do damage control, but maybe it would be better to hang back and hope that Fury would show some mercy?
...yeah, probably not.
